Girls from Ghana have been being trafficked into a Middle Eastern region. Relatives are lied to about where they are going, or they are orphans. They “work” domestically, and can’t get away because their passports are held by their “owners”. They are often unpaid and denied medical care, and are often abused both physically and sexually.
They are now being rescued and helped to go home by the Akhorn Team. Recently several of them also were able to forgive their traffickers and start new lives in Jesus, which has set them free from the bondage and baggage of their lives. Of these several have chosen to stay and be the Light locally.
Rejoicing that in yet another corner, darkness is being cancelled!
