It’s become fairly obvious that most thinking, considerate people are appalled at the reality of abortion. Some, perhaps, in ages past, were lulled into the lie of mere tissues, unfeeling cells, and the differentiation of fetus from the word baby, infant or child, like some Latin phrase that explained things away.

The question is, now that we KNOW; now that it’s been proven that babies feel, think, hear, and bond in the womb, what are we doing about abortion? Yes, we know that there are people out there who still feel that battles have been “won” in States that now approve it. And yes, these people appear to be educated, scientific, and have it all together. They are in political roles, and meant to represent their constituents, after all. And yes, there are the belligerent who scream and yell and demand their “rights”. So the fact that any true thinker actually knows that the loud and the corrupt are actually killing humans and calling it progress puts us in a position where we KNOW. So with that Knowing, what are we going to do?

This is as true at the frontlines of war where there is more chaos as it is in neat and tidy towns and cities from Durban, South Africa to NYC. We all have busy lives to lead and wanted to be able to leave this problem to our government representatives.

Your thoughts, your interactions with the Lord on this are valuable. What is He saying to you?

When Wilberforce realized that slavery had to end, he worked with a team, and brought this truth home at many levels, in many circles, across years of persistence. Now slavery has been relegated to an ugly stain on human history. But it was practiced as fully normal for thousands of years. Although it took a Civil War in America, I trust that abortion will not demand that of us. But if it did, the life of a baby in the womb is fully equal to the value of mine.

My point, though, is collaboration. Wilberforce had a team. How can we work together and solve this?
