healing

Loving happens a day at a time. The Team from Hope House works with refugees; many of them widows and orphans ... all fleeing war and traumatized. The teams goes from tent to tent; from shelter to shelter.

At one tent a very young woman was pregnant with her second child. They were visiting with diapers for the first born, and prenatal tablets for this mother. Although they had barely anything, the mother wanted to serve them tea. Various family members and neighbors from other tents came in to join them.

One young mother came in with little Len. He is two, but has until now only scooted. The team had already taken the family to a doctor because he was not crawling or walking. The doctor said he needed to see a neurologist. This day the team asked Len's mom if they could pray for him. One of the team told her how Jesus heals, and she accepted prayer.

As they were leaving, they were told that the pregnant mother had been told she did not have enough amniotic fluid, and would likely loose the baby. Hearing this, the team prayed for her as well.

The next week they were back, and people came running to tell them that Len was walking! Everyone is excited! In fact, he is walking everywhere! He can't stop walking! Now other parents are bringing their sick children and asking for prayer. Today Rae's mother brought her to the team. She was having trouble hearing. After prayer in Jesus name, her ears opened, and she could hear.

And the young mother needing amniotic fluid returned from her checkup with good news too! She was told that everything was normal and the baby is healthy. These people are experiencing the tangible love of God. It is His touch of goodness to them that is letting them see that He loves them and cares about them.

Continue to pray for the Hope House Team. The landlord's heart has softened towards the outreach they are doing and has offered them the second half of the building for Hope House outreach. This can only happen if they can double the rent. Thank you for praying and investing in this project! The impact is amazing!!
